Chasing the light

The word "photography" literally means drawing with light. We are essentially controlling and manipulating light in order to create an image. Like a lot of photographers, I primarily use natural light when shooting, but I add artificial light whenever necessary. The other night, I attended a Studio Lighting workshop. It was fun, I got a lot of helpful tips, and learned the math & physics involved in lighting a subject, which blew my mind. I definitely plan to continue down that rabbit hole (nerd is life lol). I love photography meet-ups, so this was right up my alley. Building with like minds in your field and learning/improving will forever be part of the growth process in anything you do. I make sure to have fun with it.
